Our Team

The founding team consists of two colleagues who ideally combine different fields of expertise:

Stefan Sovinz is a lawyer and tax advisor and has accompanied the topic of financing from bilateral loans and leasing to leveraged finance in major banks both from a commercial perspective and from the legal and tax departments. His strong affinity for leasing stems from several years of work as Head of Sales for a leasing company and as a corporate finance/debt adviser, during which he was able to become intensively acquainted with the numerous advantages of lease financing as well as possible stumbling blocks from the client's point of view.

Stefan Ostrowski, with his background as a graduate physicist, currently holds the positions of CEO and Chief Programmer at LeasingPilot. His professional career is marked by a diverse range of experiences, spanning from fundamental research in magnetoencephalography at the University Hospital Düsseldorf to a leading role in a Taiwanese automation technology company.

Since 2004, Mr. Ostrowski has expanded his expertise as a programmer, focusing on Python since 2011. During this time, he has worked for various web stores, internet service providers, and B2B platforms. Additionally, he possesses extensive knowledge in advising clients on SEO, as well as internet and social media marketing strategies. Beyond his professional activities, Mr. Ostrowski is also engaged as an investor in various internet platforms.

His broad and interdisciplinary experience makes him a valuable member of the LeasingPilot team, where he applies his knowledge and skills to support and advance the company's goals and success.

The founding team is completed by a growing number of colleagues with many years of sales experience in the leasing sector as well as a lawyer and tax advisor who contributes his many years of structuring experience.

Stefan Sovinz, Rechtsanwalt und Steuerberater, hat seine Karriere 1999 im Segment Spezial-/Akquisitionsfinanzierungen (Leveraged Finance) der Dresdner Kleinwort begonnen und hat Finanzierungen aller Art aus rechtlicher, steuerlicher und kaufmännischer Perspektive verantwortet. Ab 2010 leitete er das Team Structured Products der IKB Deutsche Industriebank, war als Vertriebsleiter der IKB Leasing (heute PEAC Solutions) und zuletzt als Debt Adviser für eine Hamburger Corporate Finance-Boutique tätig.

Die Gründungsidee für LeasingPilot entstand aus seinen Erfahrungen als Leasing-Vertriebsleiter, wo er einerseits die großartigen Vorteile von Leasing & Mietkauf als auch die Intransparenz des Marktes und der Produkte kennen lernte. Für die Leasing-Beratung kommt ihm nun die Kombination aus Leveraged Finance- und Leasing-Erfahrung gepaart mit rechtlichem und steuerlichen Verständnis zu Gute.

Stefan Ostrowski, Diplom-Physiker, ist Geschäftsführer und Chefprogrammierer bei LeasingPilot. Seine berufliche Laufbahn zeichnet sich durch eine vielseitige Erfahrung aus, die von der Grundlagenforschung in der Magnetoenzephalographie am Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf bis hin zur leitenden Funktion in einem taiwanesischen Unternehmen für Automatisierungstechnik reicht.

Seit 2004 hat Herr Ostrowski seine Expertise als Programmierer, seit 2011 mit einem Fokus auf Python, weiter ausgebaut. In dieser Zeit arbeitete er für verschiedene Webstores, Internet-Service-Dienste und B2B-Plattformen. Darüber hinaus verfügt er über umfangreiche Kenntnisse in der Beratung von Kunden zu SEO sowie Internet- und Social Media-Marketingstrategien. Neben seiner beruflichen Tätigkeit engagiert sich Herr Ostrowski auch als Investor in verschiedenen Internet-Plattformen.

Weitere Teammitglieder

Oliver Gerstberger ergänzt als erfahrener Treasurer und Banker das Beraterteam. Er war nach dem Karrierestart im Investment Banking in verschiedenen Treasury-Positionen und als Head of Treasury sowohl für familiengeführte als auch PE-geführte Unternehmen tätig und konnte auf Kundenseite reichhaltige Erfahrungen mit Leasingfinanzierungen sammeln. So hat er in einem Asset-intensiven Geschäftsmodell Investitionen in 15 europäischen Ländern orchestriert, wobei die Finanzierungsmethoden von Hire Purchase und Leasing bis hin zu Sale & Lease-back und Revenue Sharing-Strukturen reichten. Olivers Kenntnisse des Leasingmarktes sind tief und detailliert und er bietet eine seltene Kundenperspektive, die er nun in unser Team einbringt. Seine Kombination aus praxisnahen Erfahrungen und Treasury-Perspektive ergänzt die Beratungskompetenz des LeasingPilot-Teams perfekt.

LeasingPilot was created in 2021 as a brand of Deutsche Mittelstandsfinanzierungsplattform GmbH and is an innovative, independent and efficient advisory platform based in Leverkusen, offering a structured and integrated advisory service for leasing solutions (digitised "Leasing Advisory") as well as unified access to extended financial, structuring, tax and legal services for German and European clients.
